The short version: watching films on FilmCloud.tv is free and requires no account. If you want to save favorites or track your progress, you can create a free account with your email address. Be a good citizen — don't try to break, copy, or redistribute the service. The rest of this page fills in the details.
Agreement
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FilmCloud.tv ("FilmCloud.tv," "we," "us," or "our") and any related pages, features, or services we operate (together, the "Service"). By using the Service or creating an account, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Who can use FilmCloud.tv
You must be at least 13 years old to use FilmCloud.tv. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian who accepts these Terms on your behalf.
Your account
You do not need an account to watch films on FilmCloud.tv. Accounts are optional and let you save favorites, track your viewing progress, and follow filmmakers you like. To create one, you provide your email address — that's the only personal information we ask for. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle it.
If you choose to create an account, you agree to:
- Give us an email address you actually control
- Keep your account credentials confidential
- Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account
You are responsible for activity that happens through your account.
What we provide
FilmCloud.tv gives you access to stream films and related content that we or our partners have made available through the Service. Available titles, features, and functionality may change over time. We may add, modify, or remove films and features at any time, with or without notice.
Fees
The Service is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features in the future, we will make the price and terms clear before you're asked to pay, and we will not charge you without your explicit consent.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Copy, download (except as expressly permitted by the Service), record, redistribute, or publicly perform any film or other content available through FilmCloud.tv
- Circumvent, disable, or interfere with any security, digital-rights management, or access-control features of the Service
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to derive the source code of the Service
- Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access the Service, except for well-behaved search-engine crawlers
- Use the Service to send spam, distribute malware, or violate the rights of others
- Use the Service to break any applicable law
Content and intellectual property
All films, artwork, text, logos, and other content available through the Service are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws, and are owned by FilmCloud.tv, our filmmakers, or our licensors. Except for the limited right to stream content for your personal, non-commercial use through the Service, no rights are granted to you.
The "FilmCloud.tv" name and logo are trademarks of FilmCloud.tv. You may not use them without our prior written permission.
Third-party content
The Service may include links to third-party websites or content that we do not control. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of any third parties, and linking to them is not an endorsement.
Termination
You can delete your account at any time by emailing us at email@filmcloud.tv. We may suspend or terminate your account if you materially breach these Terms or if we're required to do so by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — such as intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability — will continue to apply.
Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that any particular film will remain available.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, FilmCloud.tv will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the claim, or (b) US $100.
Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you by email. Continued use of the Service after the effective date of a change means you accept the revised Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which FilmCloud.tv is established, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction, except where mandatory local law provides otherwise.
